Way of Hope : Poem by Suha

suha

I was running through the jungle,
I didn’t care about the pain.
When people saw me struggle,
My effort was already in vain.

The thorns in my heart,
The thorns on my feet.
Were just the same as felt,
As my heart begins to beat.

The faster I was trying,
The lower it was getting.
And at the end I fell,
I fell in the dilemma,
Which was deep as a den,
Dark as night.

I got up,
I got high.
I was smiling,
Brighter than you ever saw,
Beyond the scoopy rumors that you draw.
Bigger than you imagined,
Greater than you criticized.
Because I never give up.

In this unknown world,
The future is blur.
But I’ll try to learn everything,
Because I mean something.

Suha is tenth standard student of Paramita school of Karimnagar. She writes poetry and expresses her deep feelings time to time. Though it is dark and deep, she makes a ray of hope.
