Arjun Janah
When all the hustle for the dollar ends,
There’s time again for that which heals and mends.
There is a solace found in quiet woods
That’s lacking in the city’s neighborhoods.
There is a grace about the balanced tree
That’s rarely found around our masonry,
And there’s a silence in the land and sky
That soothes the mind through both the ear and eye.
When tired of speeding, then we need to slow,
And in that slowing then begin to know.
